It has a black sand beach, which is adored by sun worshippers and swimmers and a huge variety of bars, restaurants and a sports centre. The marina is home to many splendid craft and fishing excursions together with whale and dolphin safaris which sail back and forth daily. Los Gigantes is a beautiful area, favoured by many mature couples due to its relaxed atmosphere and lifestyle, and affectionately referred to as 'the village'. The new motorway link is now open enabling the journey time to the southern airport Reina Sofia will be around 35 minutes’ drive.
