Adeje Council in Tenerife South has ordered special storage lockers for the beach. They are made by The Box Security Services, from a material which tolerates coastal weather sun and sand.
Tenerife Royale Estate Agents S.L. feels this is a new and innovative service which enables people to keep their wallets, car keys, and all valuables completely safe during their absence. The cost will be three euros per day and they can be purchased for a total of 20 days. The keys are duplicated, one for a guardian of the boxes and one for the customer, ensuring safety of the contents.
Not only is this project a first for Tenerife, it is also the first beach in the world to have such new and modern storage facilities.
The Costa Adeje beach in the south of Tenerife has two modules, each with 108 boxes.
