Tenerife Royale Estate Agents S.L. are happy to report that tourism in Tenerife showed an increase of 3.27% compared with last year.

The number of tourists staying in Tenerife for the summer season totalled 1,658,582.

Incoming Tourism Statistics collated the figures which were reviewed by the Research Department of Tourism Tenerife.

An increase of 6.02% was achieved in the South of Tenerife, maintaining the positive trend that began late last year.

During the summer months there has been an increase of families visiting the South of Tenerife, with a total of 21% showing the rising trend.

Tenerife Royale Estate Agents S.L. are informed that the Cabildo of Tenerife found that 8 out of 10 tourists use the internet when planning a visit to Tenerife.

The Cabildo found that both the natural beauty of Tenerife’s landscape, together with the friendliness and hospitality of the local Canarian added to the enjoyment of tourists, encouraging them to return many times for a special holiday.
