Tenerife Royale Estate Agents S.L. has been informed that a new directive has been given to local police officers in Tenerife.The Police Academy situated in Adeje in the south of Tenerife was recently visited by Jose Sanabria, the Deputy Director of the Academies.
Starting next year, a course to teach English to officers has been designed in conjunction with the University of Las Palmas.
Señor Sanabria proposes the new scheme to be utilized mainly in the tourist areas including Playa de Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Los Gigantes, El Medano, Costa del Silencio, and Puerto de La Cruz, as well as Tenerife’s capital City Santa Cruz, thus helping holiday makers who may need to ask directions, or report lost property etc.
