Education - Excellence SATS Results For English School in Tenerife

Those of you, who wish to buy a property here in Tenerife, and intend to live here with their families, will be delighted to know that education of youngsters is a high priority within the school system.
In particular, the English Private School, Wingate, here in the South of Tenerife, has achieved excellent results from the recent SATS examinations.
Once again the figures for year six pupils were higher than those at schools in the UK and exceeded the targets set by the UK Government.
Level 4 SATS in English achieved 97% as opposed to 81% in the UK:
Level 5 SATS achieved 45% as opposed to only 29% in the UK.
 A similar result was achieved in Maths, with the level 4 SATS attaining a 97% success rate as opposed to 78% in the UK and level 5 received  65% with only 31% achieved in the UK.
The standard of excellence is very high in the Canaries in general, and parents should have no fears about educating their children here
