The Abama Golf & Spa Resort has been listed as one of the top ten European beach resorts. Readers of the prestigious travel magazine Conde Nash Traveller were asked to provide their top ten resorts in Europe and they named the luxury Abama resort, the only Spanish hotel to make it onto the the list.

A report published by the National Statistics Institute in Spain has revealed the warmest, wettest and sunniest parts of the country of Spain in recent years. New figures just released show that the island of Tenerife is still the most popular search destination for buyers seeking property in Spain. Mallorca was the next most popular search and the popularity of the Canary Islands shows that interest in the Spanish Costas is in decline. The results of the survey revealed that Tenerife is twice as popular as the Costa Blanca and more than three times as popular as the Costa Del Sol. Spanish property prices could drop by up to a fifth in the next year, according to market experts. Low cost flight operator Jet2.com are introducing a new route to Tenerife, flying from East Midland’s airport in the U.K..
The new service commences in May, 2010, but bookings are now being taken. The flights cost 67 euros each way, including tax.
